ANOTHER GAME CONVENTION

June 21-24, 2012

Time left before we have fun: 136 Days!

Judging for RPGA D&D Events

Registering as a judge for us is a simple process.  Those who judged for us last year know how much fun we like to have and how much respect is given to our judging staff.  I always look to find ways to reward our judges for their excellent work.

This year we will continue to have the Judges SWAG raffle, which was popular with our past conventions.  EVERY JUDGE WILL WIN SOMETHING FROM THE RAFFLE.  Further, we are now paying the judges $1 for each player at their table.  (This will be handled differently for the Delve).  Therefore the more you judge the more you cover your expenses.  Finally, new judges for me get the Judge Polo shirt for free.  If you already have a shirt and need another, let me know.  You can also purchase additional shirts for $20.

You also have the change to get your Judge Badge free by writing your own MYRE event for the convention.  See the RPGA events page for more details or contact Frank Belter directly for more information.

If you wish to stay at the hotel, I will at your request find roomates.

As usual, we ask our judges to do a minimum of three events (with exceptions of course).  You can register to do more (and I encourage you to do so).

The first step in the process is to fill out this form.  After you have completed it, you can register on the warhorn site (yes, you actually have to sign up there as well).  You can select the games you wish to judge and play on that site.  After I have reviewed everything, I will lock you into those events you wish to judge and you will qualify for a discounted badge.  NOTE, the warhorn site does NOT have the Delve.  If you are interested in doing the delve, express your interest on the form below.  Finally, expect a phone call from me as I usually call to confirm everything.

Your Experience

You are asked these questions to help us determine where we should have you run.  DO NOT think you can not judge for us if you have no experience.  On the contrary, regional conventions are the perfect place to get experience and I encourage players who never judged before to judge for us.
